Ok, so you're ready to put a border on
your photo. While the borders file is active (dark blue bar at top) click
into the layer of the border you want. Hold down the mouse and drag it over
to the photo and release. I think some other version of PS may not allow
drag and dropping. In this case I think you can click on the image in the
borders file, hit control A to copy and then go to your photo and hit
control v to paste. Now, you might not see anything happen after you do
this. Why? Because the border is so big it has gone off the sides on the
image and nothing is visible because your image area is inside the
"hole" -- the middle part. Even if you can’t see the border right
now, hit either Control T (for PS7) or SHIFT CONTROL T for some other
versions OR go to the Transform tool (under EDIT in PS7) Now, if you can’t
see the border, you just need to shrink your screen down so you can see the
borders. Do this by holding down Control and tapping the "minus"
key a few times to shrink the image down in the frame. Now you should see a
box with little "handles" on it. Click on each "handle"
hold down the mouse and drag it in to the edge of the photo. Do this on
each side till you've got it fitting. Then go up to the top and click the
checkmark to accept your changes. Now click here to go
to the next page. Or go back one page.
