Congratulations! A new baby in your life means nothing again will ever be the same. This little person will change faster than you can imagine, and between the late-night feedings, the millions of diaper changes and the piles of laundry, it can be easy to put off recording the details of your baby's first days. The newborn phase comes but once in a lifetime, you most certainly want to remember it always. Beautiful portraits capture forever the true work of art that is your brand new baby.

Blair photographs newborn babies in her Towson studio betwen six and nine days old if at all possible. The longer infants are out in the world, the more difficult they are to photograph in those sweet "tucked" newborn poses. A baby who is older than two weeks is much more alert and much more opinionated about being photographed!

The best time to reserve a newborn session is while you are still pregnant. For scheduling purposes, your sesssion will be reserved for 6-9 days past your due date (ie. if your due date is the 10th, we'd set up your session for sometime between the 16th and the 19th.) Then, should you have the baby sooner or later than expected, we will adjust your session date accordingly, but this way, you have a spot saved on the calendar.

Once you book your session and confirm the booking by paying session fee, you will be sent wardrobe and prepartion tips. Please read over them carefully to give us the best chances for a successful session.

Prices

Session fee: $225 ($100 credited to prints with on-time orders)

Prints start at $35 for a 5x7 and $55 for an 8x10.

Digital Packages start at $850 for 12 images and go up to $1600 for the entire proof set (min. 40 images) on a CD. Digital packages include high-resolution* JPGs on CD and the corresponding professionally processed 5x7 prints. *printable up to 8x10

DIRECTIONS:

Blair's studio is located in suite 210 of the Cranston Building at 320 E. Towsontown Blvd., Towson, MD 21286. From I-695 texit toward I-70 / I-83 / TOWSON. Merge onto DULANEY VALLEY RD via EXIT 27A toward TOWSON. Enter roundabout and take 3rd exit onto YORK RD. Turn LEFT onto E TOWSONTOWN BLVD. Turn east onto E. Towsontown Blvd. (intersection at the pinkish public library and Wilson Lighting). Pass the Maryland Dept. Of Labor, Licensing and Regulations. Turn right into the parking lot by the street sign that says Centre Ave. (dead end- not really a street.)

Please park in any space in front (ignore "reserved" markings). Clients may also park in the grassy area along side the building. Enter the building from the EAST entrance near the wheelchair ramp. ON THE LEFT SIDE, NOT THE MAIN FRONT DOOR!!**** Come up the stairs and look for Blair's suite on the right.
